One Piece – Chapter #1185
Frog F: Is this like the fourth mother to die in this Elbaph arc? Oda has got a vendetta against mother’s at this point. Oh also Brook’s life was very sad.
K Bug: Brook really can’t catch a break. Also, something tells me the suddenly demonic princess may not have been entirely in control of her faculties. Just a hunch.
Kagurabachi – Chapter #124
Frog F: With each passing chapter I come to think more and more that Akemura was justified.
K Bug: There was a lot of drama behind the forging of the Enchanted Blades; good thing it was smooth sailing after that…
Ichi the Witch – Chapter #86
Frog F: Ichi initiating death-for-death on Fujimine despite her spell has gotta be one of the top moments in this entire series. More stuff like this please.
K Bug: Fujimine pressed the death-for-death button. She shouldn’ta did that.
Under Doctor – Chapter #20
Frog F: The Above Doctor enters the operating room. Also the photo guy is part of the gang now and they cooked some stuff. Time for a decent length story arc surely?
K Bug: A pretender to the throne? A Below Medic? A Down Carer? A Nether Healthcare Professional?
Kinato’s Magic – Chapter #19
Frog F: Things are heating up in more ways than one. That double page spread of the majo ladies at the beach is surely worth a jump in the rankings, right Japanese audience?
K Bug: Offensive relaxation? If it works, it works.
Roku’s House of Oddities – Chapter #10
Frog F: Each curse has now had their own dedicated chapter. Curious to see if this continues as a story of the week style series or moves into a story arc structure. Keen for more of Roku and his house of oddities.
K Bug: Apparently comparing a girl to a lizard does wonders for their self-esteem. Who knew?
Someone Hertz – Chapter #37
Frog F: Some cute romantic tension between our main duo now that Mimei has matched Mizuo in points for Mon-Mid’s one liner corner. This manga is just a joy to read each week.

Animal Signal – Chapter #2
Frog F: Anima school? I was kinda hoping this would be more focused on their jobs as Anima police. School setting is a bit tired in Jump. I guess I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt for now.
K Bug: He never went to a regular school, and that is pretty bad; now he goes to an anima school ’cause a bat was feeling sad.
Hal Formula – Chapter #1
Frog F: This was quite a refreshing change of pace in Jump. I dig the Formula 1 concept and the relationship between the two brothers. I can see a lot of potential in this one. This was a super solid first chapter although it did feel more like a one-shot than the start of a series. Also shouldn’t this have been translated as ‘Haru Formula’?
K Bug: Apparently the formula is hitting the accelerator and never not doing that.
