Kagurabachi – Chapter #129
Frog F: This manga is just too damn good, man. This Seitei War flashback is already an all timer flashback arc for me.
K Bug: Man, Hokazono is good. Kunishige’s eyes being dimmed by his past and reignited by Chiaki cooking for him? Magnifique.
One Piece – Chapter #1191
Frog F: Is it just me or does it feel like Oda is racing through the story these days? It’s not a bad thing but definitely get the feeling we are accelerating towards the finish line much faster than maybe originally planned.
K Bug: Better the devil you know…unless he can get super swole and also shoot bombs.
Hunter x Hunter – Chapter #418
Frog F: Tserriednich sucks. 👎
K Bug: So, the sadistic psychopath with god-like talent can now move invisibly and prepare any number of horrible traps, plans, and devious shenanigans? Goody goody gumdrops…
Akane-Banashi – Chapter #219
Frog F: Adding Akane to our weekly line up now that I am officially up to date. Needless to say, this manga rules. More thoughts in weeks to come!
Ichi the Witch – Chapter #95
Frog F: Gokuraku did some cool ora ora-ing but then got immediately wrecked. Interesting set up for this Majik’s trial. I’m keen to see how it plays out.
K Bug: Our heroes are now ready to catch these hands.
Under Doctor – Chapter #29
Frog F: We have decided to cease our weekly thoughts on Under Doctor. We just aren’t enjoying the series unfortunately. We gave it a fair go.
Kinato’s Magic – Chapter #28 (END)
Frog F: Sad to see Kinato end. I really think this series had a lot of potential to grow and build upon itself. Unfortunately Jump is a cutthroat magazine to serialize your manga in. Hope to see Amemiya back again though. Maybe pair them up with a writer as a duo next time?
K Bug: A nice ending to a series cut short. Who will save the world with the power of massages and chill vibes now, I ask?
Roku’s House of Oddities – Chapter #19
Frog F: This chapter was hilarious. I loved the science club’s reactions to all the curses, especially the guy who looks about 40 and is absolutely jacked being heartbroken after Sachiko unintentionally turns him down because she has no idea how texting works.
K Bug: What’s a science club for if not to fix a washing machine and stick around for a chaotic dinner? …maybe science, I guess.
Someone Hertz – Chapter #46
Frog F: Could the moment in the broadcast room be foreshadowing a future direction for the series? Could Mimei and Mizuo pursue becoming radio hosts themselves? I’d like that.
Animal Signal – Chapter #11
Frog F: They couldn’t shell out for anything better than a two star hotel? How cheap is this organization?
K Bug: Classic hotel/promotion misunderstanding. And who knew zoo goers were so fervent?
Cannon Master – Chapter #9
Frog F: That reveal came sooner than I had expected. I suppose better to get to the point rather than delay revealing what is already abundantly obvious. I wonder how things will evolve from here?
K Bug: Unexpectedly forthcoming with its reveals, this manga is. Not that it was ever assumed by anyone that Ur was a regular lad.
